  • Comment: I saw Crazy Heart last night and knew from the moment I heard Jeff Bridge's opening song that this was a soundtrack I had to have. Now, country is not typically my musical genre - I range from Fleetwood Mac to Sonic Youth, Bjork to the Rolling Stones, A Tribe Called Quest to Taj Mahal.

    Nonetheless, every song throughout this remarkable film touched me deeply. As early as I could this morning, I bought the soundtrack and I have no regrets. For eight dollars, I have twenty-three deeply moving songs and I couldn't be happier. Skip the expensive lunch today; buy this album.

  • Comment: I loved the movie and was so pleased to be able to re-live it with the soundtrack. A great mixture of old and new music, ending with my favorite song, "The Weary Kind". And, what a pleasant surprise to hear Jeff Bridges could sing on top of all his other talents!

  • Comment: I LOVED the film, Crazy Heart. Saw it twice and loved the sound track. This is NOT the soundtrack that played with the film. There are tracks on this album that weren't anywhere near the film! If you like the songs that Jeff Bridges and Colin Farrell sing, individually download the MP3 versions.

  • Comment: I ordered the CD from Amazon, and got it before the movie was released. I liked the CD even better after I saw the movie. First of all, who knew Jeff Bridges could even hum? He's terrific in the movie, and the CD which captures the tone of the movie as well. If I could be granted one druther, it would be for more Duvall, but then on my CD, I have Buck Owens, Kitty Wells, Lightin' Hopkins, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, George Jones and more! It's a treasure!
